German Infantry Regiment

Gentlemen,
I have looked in all available sources, and I cannot find the 4th Infantry Regiment. I have looked thru each Division and no luck.
Does anyone know where I can find what Division the 4th Regiment as assigned?

Hi Lonewolf.

It looks like Infanterie Regiment 4 were subordinate to the 32. Infanterie Division.

32. Infanteriedivision - Lexikon der Wehrmacht

Grenadier Regiment 4 was formed on October 15, 1942 from the 4th Infantry Regiment and subordinated to the 32nd Infantry Division. On June 11, 1943, the III. Battalion disbanded due to heavy losses and distributed between the 1st and 2nd Battalions. The regiment was taken prisoner by the Russians in West Prussia.

A good tactic I use is to search using German terminology.
