Thanks Aldo, I like it alot to

I wonder if there were two versions of these stickpins. I can't find any traces of a silver finish on this one. And yours on post #18 next to the bigger danziger skull does not seem to have it either. Then again they are old and could have lost it all..

    Cheers,

    Dos

I agree, I also have 3 Danziger skulls devoid of any silver finish and wondered if they were ever worn in this brass finish. None of them exhibit even a trace of finish. Usually the back retains some even if it's thoroughly worn off the face.

Here are two examples of Danziger type skulls in brass retaining a lot of silver finish on the back despite being well worn on the front.

The skulls you show in post #22 also seem to be from the same time period like the stickpin. If you look at the characteristics they are almost identical.

    Thank you for showing!

I found another of these brass Kav. 5 regt. stickpins. I can't get enough of these small skull pins.

Thank you Aldo, I like skulls since i was a little kid, But the obsession to collect skulls of war is mostly because of you! I should have never looked at you're collection page haha

They can be even smaller!, But i will make a designated thread for this one. Does not seem to be alot of information about it. To be continued...
