Looks like Pudding to me. Maybe owned by Harley Quinn at one time?
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

If it were PUDDING, then you can see where one's priorities were
Funny that it is the same in English AND German ........
" I'm putting off procrastination until next week "

Thanks, I wasn’t aware it was the same in both languages, do you think someone could have been named pudding? Or maybe it really was for their pudding.

I mean, i have heard of these being used as food storage, if so it should be a waterproof version though. These are marked D for dicht on the bottom.
-
I don’t think it’s the water proof version, no markings in the metal on the bottom, just an ink date, eagle and three names.
-
Yeah, does not look like it. Not perfect for storing food then i suppose. Weird. Also very cool bottom with the ink stamps and the writing, looks like a barely used example, if that would have seen much outside use these probably would be long gone.
Maybe it somehow never got into real war use?

It is a nice example, here is the thread on it, don’t think it would help all that much though.

The last letter looks like a "Y" to me, but I still can't make out the name
