Late war, third pattern FS fighting knife. There should be a mold number on the handle near the pommel, or maybe close to the guard.

Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
There is no mould number, that’s what’s making me think maybe post war. I’m fine with post war army issue, but not if it’s a repro.
I still think it is a late war, third pattern, original, FS fighting knife.
If post war, I would expect a maker's mark on the guard instead of just Sheffield England.

Many thanks for your advise on this one, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for war time issue. That would be a bonus.
Is the handle a base metal , with a copper plated and blackened finish.
Seems to be base metal and plated on mine. Sorry for all the questions just major lack of knowledge on these.
