    Heres´s a Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger, (3rd pattern ?), I do not know, if it´s an legit one ? ...

    There´re a lot of fakes of the F&S outthere and I want to make sure that my F&S is an legit item.

    It's a post WW2 3th pattern, not 2nd pattern.

    Not military issued, just a post war non military FS, still made today (i think) by this company John Nohill & son/J. Adams Ltd. If you look for an issued FS get a 3th pattern from ww2 or in the link i gave their is info about issued post ww2 FS's.

    Nohill is correct, but, what´s about the military acceptance marks, ("broad arrow" and WD for war department) ?

    Are they faked ?

    sorry but its the only pics they have , the German Cloth Eagle also looks nice
