Hi mate,
no markings on the hilt anywhere? I had one similar a little while ago but it had a name and sheffield on the hilt. Seems to be a 3rd pattern FS knife. Not military issue if it's the same as mine.

Thanks for your reply. I have examined knife and scabbard from top to bottom with a magnifying lens and there are indeed no markings.

I will say it's a late copy of some sort. The military issue FB knives would have markings of some kind.

F-S knives that are still in U.K. army stores have no markings whatsoever, they are completely 'sterile'. You may remember this thread from a while back where this was discussed.
