This is the pride and joy of my small FS collection. I just recently purchased
this 1st pattern FS from a fellow forum member who is a true gentleman.

I've been collecting and studying FS knives from the time I was 14 years old
and in all that time I have amassed a collection with a total of 9 knives.
Everyone who collects FS knives wants to have a 1st pattern and finally after
nearly 50 years, I have one of my own.

    Thank you Kevin.

The knife is on a 1944 dated Jerkin and is shown with an original
shoulder tab and an original (postwar) SAS cap badge.

    Congratulations Greg!
I am happy that you have finally been able to acquire one of these.
Now you'll have to keep your eyes open for a sheath.
