Fallschirmjager Helmet

Thoughts on this Fallschirmjager Helmet please , looks to be a semi relic but i know they are even faking them to look like this these days , thank you for any help

It looks as though it might be OK, but a picture of the front of the helmet - looking straight on - would help. There is a characteristic 'dip' to the central part of the rim on an original, and the Chinese crap doesn't have this feature.

Pictures are not very clear but the paint looks after war (over pitting) and eagle remains look too bright to me for the relic state of the helmet.
Not sure about the inner works being original but they don't look to below to this shell.
Better pictures / close ups should give a better idea of all parts.

That's some heavy corrosion to the shell! At the very least, if its a swamp find ( which it looks like ) it has been disassembled, cleaned completely and put back together.
For my money, its had a paint job at the same time.......
