FJ Helmet Shell ET71??

Hello
what are your thoughts on this para shell?
It is being offered to me.
The ET71 looks ok ( not sure).
I was concerned about the rolled edge.
It is rusty and pitted here and there.
I don't have many pics except for what was sent to me

I think this one stands a good chance of being original from what is shown in the photos

I agree. The tooling mark is present and it seems the correct shape.

Wow, that is top dollar IMO. It appears to be a nice shell and could there be cammo remains? A decal would be really nice but it is what it is. I paid around 1/2 that for my M38 shell (although in worse condition) so is the better condition shell worth a 100% premium? That is a question you as buyer would need to answer.

My example:


IMHO if it had a 1/2 decent decal AND you really had to have a para helmet in your collection AND you have the cash burning a hole in your pocket then MAYBE it is worth it. Could there be wiggle room if you offer the seller $1100-1200?

That is TOP dollar. For a bit more you can get a complete example and increase the likelihood that if it became necessary to sell it you would be able to get your money back.

I saw shells in this condition being sold here in Belgium (Ciney) for around 800$.
And they were original aswell...!
