Saved it from being chrome plated by a biker in the 70's.

Nice paratrooper helmet!
71 size is not a huge for FJ- it's approx 57-58 by liner ( standard M 71 would be 62-63) I once have M 42 , ET 71, DD SS , a rare comparition, even a DD M 42
