Good afternoon everybody, been shopping today and bought two items, the first of which is this Assmann Fallschirmschützenabzeichen. I know that the catch has been repaired, but since I got the badge for less than half the price of a perfect example, I am happy to have a £300 discount for the sake of a small wire catch. This is a late war zinc example with the die number "1" stamped on the wreath.

That's a nice one look original badge. And a broken catch doesn't bother me either if it means getting an original badge for a good price, could've been broken in action and repaired at the time so it's part of history.
