Hello guys I thought I had found the bargain of a lifetime "but as long as my name is Terry & I have a hole in my butt" it aint going happen!!.. But I found this badge on ebay,It looked good but on closer inspection I notice the Swastika is missing the wings seem alittle large etc!!! So I think it is a fake "could be wrong" but where has the Swastika gone & why..... Just really wanted your say!! thanks for your time Terry.

Very poor fake.

Bad design, pin, rivets, wrong colour eagle, etc.

It is a fake but the swastika is missing as noted.

Why do that to a fake?

Because, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was taken off to make it more believeable as an original. A denazified badge might trick someone thinking it is an original badge because it's been denazified. The value of a denazified badge would still be considerably more than a fake!

Thanks Adrian I was wondering why some one take the Swastika off.. Now I know why!!!! "live & learn" didnt fool me though... I must be learning more than I thought!!! Cheers Terry.
