Default 1937 LW gas mask canister "236"

    Hi guys,

not really a new addition but I wanted to put up some quick shots of this older one I hadn't made a thread on yet. This honest early example was found in a barn in western Finland some years ago alongside a dark green canister. I have left it uncleaned as it isn't close to disintegrating. Still contains dirt and sand!

Some of the original green paintwork can be seen underneath the outer layer of dark blue. Both the canister and the catch on the short strap are nicely marked as well.

Condition-wise nothing spectacular but a fine piece of local history to me!

    Thanks for taking a look.

I do own the twin brother of this Gasmask canister.
I'll try to take and post a photo tomorrow, it's night time here.
    Thanks

    Hello,
Here's the canister i was talking about. It is also a production from 1937
This one does not come from Finland, but from Occitania (France).
The photos show clearly the blue paint over the factory Feldgrau
    Thanks
