1st Panzer Div LSSAH Mess Kit

Hey guys
I have a question about this Mess Kit, the owner's name is Sepp(Joseph) Pfeiffer
he was USCHA at 1st Panzer Div LSSAH
Sepp was captured and spent in several prison camps
his POW number is 6303525
Who knows how I can find more information about the person in question?

The make of Kochgeschirr is unusual. I think it is not possible to find out much about Herr Pfeiffer, there are some lists for PW with the Red Cross in Geneva but I haven't had any luck obtaining information from them. A pity he didn't scratch his hometown on it. Nice item to find.

The kochgeschirr is of the M1910, used during the Great War, and appears to be the unpainted (and fractionally heavier) Cavalry version.
