Article about: All vet returns,the first 2 have D ring attachment 1 has a square.First 1938 dated,second 1940,last has no date just a number looks like.Any info appreciated.

    All vet returns,the first 2 have D ring attachment 1 has a square.First 1938 or 33 dated,second 1940,last has no date just a number looks like.Any info appreciated.Also the first one has a different rivet system with oval washer and straps instead of just rivited must be early version.

    Forgot back of 1940 pouch,I was wrong its the same as the 30s dated one on rivet attachment.The undated one must be a later war pouch with simplified construction,no surprise,the germans did this with equipment, and guns too.

    You're right, the undated one is a late-war (1943 or later) example and has the so-called RB number stamped on it. Here's a thread on that marking system: The Reichsbetriebsnummer RB numbering system.

    Thanks for the link!That helps,one of the pouches was filled with live ammo.

    Nice pouches !!

    The Lagesa Dresden is a 1938 pouch !!

    You say they are all vet returns.... are you sure about that, because some of them clearly have the black “paint” that russians put on them after the war to protect the metal parts from rusting..... just an observation !

    The C Pose, Wehrausrüstung one from1940 looks untouched !

    Thats what I was told,have had them over 30 years so not recent ,bought from a dealer at a militria show,he must have been lied to or lied to me.ha Thanks for the heads up on the black paint!looks like its flaking off on 38 pouch might as welll remove it.The late one wont mess with.
