Hello Forum
I have just bought this gasmask M30 (I think it is a M30), there are a lots of this models, but the "funny" thing is that it was used by the danish "Zone Redningskorps" during the war. I have made some ID, but all comments are welcome
This is a M 30 made of rubberized cloth with a frame of soft leather while the M 38 was made entirely of rubber. This M30 mask is without size indication on the outside, but has the size indication "1" can be seen on the inside (The gas masks came in three different sizes: 1, 2 and 3.1 was the largest size and 3 the smallest)
Nice Auer gasmask M30 from 1939 and Auer filter from 1938. The “funny” thing is that this gasmask was used by Zone Redningskorpset (Zone Rescue Corps) which was an ambulance service in Denmark during the war, and later on they changed name to Falck Redningskorps (Falck Rescue Corps). So inspite of the war and the progress of the Nazi regime Denmark keept their commercial relationship with Germany.
