DAK Canteen? W.A.L.41

Hello guys im thinking about bidding on WAL41 canteen but i cant really find any reference photos for this exact model of cover.
All parts are marked W.A.L.41
Could you please tell me if its a proper set? And what cup should go with it?

Hello,
It is the 1 liter canteen (instead of 80 cl) with its specific cover, in tropical variant, nothing uncommon here
Condition is great, too bad the cup is missing

W.A.L is the maker Westfalische Aluminium Industrie, Junger & Co, Lüdenscheid. I would expect the missing becher to be either bakelite or Alu. Nice condition Feldflasche.

Not necessarily DAK but this type of canteens was certainly used there..... I’ve seen this type with both bakelite and metal cup. so a bakelite cup will go nice with this type.
A WAL41 metal cup will be a challenge to find, but also fun
