Hello all....I picked up this ammo pouch at the local mall today...I have several other standard black ones which are maker marked and picked this one one up because it was well made, fairly inexpensive and appeared of German make and has a RBN stamp, although it is of a style which is different from others I've seen

    my questions/concerns are

    * it is brown which I thought indicated early period but is is RBN numbered which I though was late period
    * it does not have the D ring attachment for the y-riemen
    * aside from that , it is obviously larger and cant be for the standard two 5 round stripper clips in each pouch
    * the dividers within the pouch are curved and the rivets holding them are offset causing this "curve"

any insight into what exactly I have here would be greatly appreciated ....Thanks

    Hello
Could it be a Yougoslavian three cell ammo pouch?
I am not an expert on the subject but It does look a lot like these ones. There are many variations of these with slight differences like stitching type and rivets. I don't know anything about the marking, just trying to help.

    Thanks

as I look a little further it seems that it is Turkish...I also saw some blurb about ammo pouches made in Germany and sent to Turkey...either way, it's not German field equipment....thanks again
