Dreibein 34 extender arm

​​Hello, im looking for more information about this piece. It's a AA tripod extender. Im assuming it goes on top of the preexisting attachment point on the dreibein 34. Does anyone have information about it, such as value, rarity, how often used in the field, did it have a carrying case etc? Also any images of it in use, either original or from your collection would be nice. Thanks
