The case looks like a repro made up of old and new leather parts.

The stitching of the belt loops to the blade carrier looks awful

IMHO

To me looks like a good one, different quality mixed leather is a good sign for a 43/44 period, even I would say I newer seen fakes made from a Press-stoff. Your looks like the body made from artificial leather, pressed and lacqued cardboard. Probably I'am mistaking, and the close up pictures will help

The piece is genuine but not untouched...

To me looks as untouched, there no problems with ugly seams, no other way to attach the loops, they was attached by hand sawing, the leather for loops seems to me normal. There no repairing traces to me
