    hi there i have one exactly the same but unused and still with the tablets a couple of years ago my local army & navy store had loads of them and i bought a few of these

    Hi Guys, these are both post war versions. The "teeth" type closesure and vent holes in the base are not found on wartime versions.

    The patent markings have caused confusion with collectors in the past.

    How do you remember everything?

    Spot on. I dug this one out and opened it up, I'm pretty sure its right?

    I have another sort which is in three parts as well, I will see if i can find them!

    made in germany is a giveaway and if you get one with the fuel in it as in mine it has a nato stock number on the pack i just bought them to use in emergancy they were cheeper than the brit hexamaine and work just aswell
