Feldfernsprecher 33 Mikrophon und Hörmuschel

Hello friends, For those interested in field phones here are two rarely encountered replacement parts for the handsets. A handset included a Mikrophon (mic element) and Hörmuschel (ear piece element). Two main companies manufacturing them are depicted here - De Te We (Deutsche Telephonewerke u. Kabelindustrie) and Siemens. The stylized Siemens symbol is an S over A which is the Siemens Apparate und Maschinenbau logo. Despite the fact that thousands of phones were issued, the replacement parts are hard to locate. As a military issue item, each piece carries a Waffenamt stamp. The green cross indicates these are for field phones produced during war time when the impedance was changed from the earlier model. A green stripe was added to the writing tab on the lid of the field phone where notes could be made using a grease pencil. NH
