Fettdose - Fat Dish w/ Glass Insert

Hi Guys,

I have this Fettdose that came with a glass bowl wrapped in a delicate tan tissue paper.
I've not seen the glass insert before and would like your thoughts.

I have only seen them for sale by Henrik Rask ( Rask Antik ) many years ago ... he said they were quite rare

( I would think also very impractical in the field and would have had a sparrow's fart chance of surviving the first usage )

Cheers guys...I also agree the so-called glass bowl would probably be shattered the first few hard knocks.
I believe I purchased this one from Bunker Militaria years ago.
