It looks very pretty, but I could not justify paying that kind of money for a fake item. (I have real mental block when it comes to fakes)
Cheers, Ade.

What do you suppose the REAL baton is worth? Or how about that chrome (or silver) plated stick he carried? He is carrying it in the attached foto. A few years ago a guy auctioned off a bamboo stick that he claimed was found in Rommel's house, and thus was Rommel's. I wrote to Manfred, and he said no way was that crude piece his father's! It sold for big money! I guess there is no end to the fools on ebay!
Priceless - I wouldnt even want to guess -

Hello,
I used to live in Brighton, England, in 1992 and 1993 and went hundreds of time to a militaria shop in "The Lanes" called "The Bunker Militaria" owned by an old chap whose first name was Colin (i forgot his family name). I know he moved to Dover and opened another militaria shop.
brief....
I once met an old british collector in the shop, who had a huge photo album with him. He did show me what was, according to him, his collection. Hundreds of caps, visor caps, uniforms, awards....and during our conversation he told me that he once owned one of the Göring's batons and sold it to an american collector in 1971 for $171,000....how much now ?
