Flashlight (Torch) Appreciation - Daimon Telko Trio

Article about: I love field equipment. The things that people laid hands on and really used on a daily basis during the War. Of all these things, flashlights (torches, if you like) are a favorite of mine.

Interesting that yours has a flat lens JP, not the convex type....
    Hello,
Perhaps they installed both types of glass, convex and flat on the same model of flashlight.
    Honestly, i have no idea.
The only convex glasses on my flashlights are on only two, one on another Daimon model and one one my WWI example.
Let's hope someone who knows the answer reads this thread...
    Thanks

They went with "4"?? Totally a missed opportunity!

Thanks for the post and pics of the Telkos - very informative!

Just discovered this thread, thanks a lot for all the interesting posts!

I've always liked the Daimons as well, here's one very salty example I found at an auction recently for around $12 USD. A bit rusty and missing its bulb, but still decent as a been-there display piece IMO.

Possibly interesting: a wartime photo of Telko Trios in use by a Finnish AA fire control team (June 1944, SA-Kuva archives).

    Hi Guys,

I too, just found this thread and have collected a few flashlights over the years.

Here is my Daimon example and believe it's a wartime example.

    Cheers!
