It's a nice looking can but it is NOT the paint it had when it left the 'Gas can making factory'. Whether it is a German ally ( Bulgarian etc.. ) or someone did the colour change 70 years ago - or 60 or 50 is getting harder to tell the more years that pass.....

All I can say is that it has a good "look" to it and if you like it, that's great. Better than the crap repros thats for sure!
