German Field Gear Book Suggestions?

Hello All! I have grown increasingly interested in the variety of field gear and uniforms fielded by the German Wehrmacht during the Third Reich period. However, I currently lack a good reference book(s) which could be useful in identifying equipment, any suggestions on books dealing specifically with German field gear? Any books that should be avoided? Also, are there any good sources that deal with spotting fakes or identifying common fakes? Any and all help/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Our own JPhilippe book is a must have.
The Osprey series is also useful.

Uniforms and Traditions of the German Army Volume Three by ANGOLIA, JOHN R. (Author) SCHLICHT, ADOLF (Author) and R. James Bender Publisher, is another good shelf resource although the photos are not brilliant.
