Heer Gas Mask - Authentic?

Hello All! I came across this Heer Gas Mask with canister and accessories, which seems to be in really good shape. Looking at it, it appears to be authentic, however, the paint seems to be in "almost new" condition. Is it original or repainted after the war? Are all the other items original? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
