Hotchkiss ?

I have these and have been told they are for a Hotchkiss Mle 1914, but someone else said they are Japanese. Anyone clarify.

They honestly don't look like 8mm Lebel.

I say Japanese 6.5mm.
A vernier caliper should clear Up the question

They measure 11mm wide x 75mm long if that helps

Bullet Diameter and Casing length should be measured. Not the widest and longest points

Through information posted here I now believe they are for the Typ Taisho 3 6,5 mm MG

Case is 50mm and the narrowest point is 6-7mm

And that's where the caliber 6.5*50mm comes from. So yes they're for the taisho MG
