K98 and G43 Ammo Clips

I have just got these ammo clips, I think they are for K98 and perhaps G43, but I a not sure which one is which one, I have enclosed the numbers and text on the clips:

P28-39
P416-38
LR 1-4g 39-HF (I am not sure on thte text)
P28g Material: Brass, (G dates indicate 1935 production ?
Aux 41

I do not believe they are gun specific. They work in both. The will even work in the US 03A3, with 30-06 ammo of course.

Thank you for your info, I have been looking around/ google, and when I search for the numbers and letters on them google comes up with German K98 and G43, the numbers and letters should be producers

They are stripper clips for 8x57 ammo..... regardless the rifle

P stands for Polte if i'm not mistaken....
