    Hello Jac

    Welcome to the forum

Yours is a "Fischer Original" (later they used the three letter code "ebn" ) made by Fischer AG Blech und Metallwarenfabrik in Göppingen

The number 122 is a lot number.....

hey guys - I just came arross this one - which I have not seen before...

20L German jerry 1942 - but no factory or lot num. marking, also no "Wehrmacht" stamping - so what kind of jerry is this? fake? factory mispressing?

is it a rare item? I have to say, in the last 4 years, since I've been collecting - first time I'm seeing this...

Certainly unusual - I somehow doubt that it would have been produced for German civilian purposes in 1942, and ( as it has no 'SS' marking ) not worth faking......
