It's a pocket mileage counter from the 1930's.

This forum is not for valuating items, just discussing the originality and history of an item. If you want an idea of a valuation look at auction sites and the like, but at the end of the day it's what it's worth to you, the first item I bought was simply a canteen, its in okay shape but it's missing the cup- but, I'd never sell it since although my collection is small, it's priceless to me now and always will be no matter how large my collection becomes (Please help, I need money for food) since it's my first item.

Having said it was made in Germany in the 1930's there is nothing there that makes it a military object. As to value, if it was a Heer or KM time piece then much more. But it is "of the period".
