If it doesnt have the M contract number on it i wouldnt be interested.
Have had several Kriegsmarine compasses, small and the realy big ones, but all were properly marked.
Either with the M contratnumber or the M eagle.
Just my thoughts....

Thanks for your opinion. Hope you are well. The compass not having the contract number is a slight concern of mine as well. The hinges do look as they may have been replaced at some time as they seem different than other hardware on the box. I am passing and going to hold out for a better marked example.
