Map Case - Sattler Handwerk Rheinland 1936. Info & Authenticity

From my Stepdad's collection which I'm gathering information for

Marked Sattler Handwerk Rheinland 1936.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone could authenticate and give any further information.

Looks like a fine original map case.

Sattler Handwerk means saddlery craftsmanship (literally hand work). Many saddlers and almost any kind of other leather working enterprises in Germany were engaged in supplying the Wehrmacht with all the various pieces of leather equipment used. Germans used a much higher proportion of leather in their equipment than U.S. Forces, prompting some G.I.'s to comment at the time that captured German soldiers smelled like leather and tobacco smoke.

It looks original to me.
There were a couple of variations.
I opted for the variants with the buckle, instead of the slider.
