Being honest I didn’t think I would be able to find a set this early, yet here they are. I remember when I made my 1933 set I thought that was as good as it would get, I suppose a 31 set is next in line. I’ve never seen a 31 date however.
These are both in great condition, they have their differences, one has Russian capture paint and a dyed back while this new (to me) example is not dyed on the rear and has no capture paint. Besides that they are both clearly maker marked and dated and make a nice set. Very happy to have made this set.
