The pictures of them firing vintage cartridges are cool. Goes against every collector sinew in my body, but if I had hundreds of them, and a pistol, I would almost certainly give it a go with one or two
The one shown would have been a white flare as the notches go only half way round the base of the cart. Red ones went all the way round and green had no notches at all. This system was used for easy nightime I.D.
