One little bag for the98 k

Hello, found this bag in Alsace, friends told me it is for the cleaning instruments before the RG34. Is it correct What is the German name?

The earlier cleaning kits pre RG34 (Rein gungs Gerat 34) I have seen were contained in a leather pouch. I have also seen a canvas bag for assault pack which was secured to the A-frame which had a compartment for the RG34 (Beutel Zum Gefechtsgepack). Perhaps what you have is post WW2 pouch such as for the Yugo M 48.

Hello Mark,
It is before wII, this one was found in Alsace near Mulhouse aand I know two others in a French colection(in the east of France)
