Yes it is an original - post war Bundeswehr.

They are called a "Toque" You might have better luck searching for an original one using the correct name.

I couldn't authenticate a genuine Third Reich item for sure I admit but I do know that these are something to be very careful with because many armies have used something similar. In the British Army it was known as a headover and sometimes cap comforter. The early ones were open ended like the German ones and later ones were closed at both ends and were turned half inside the other to wear. There was even a pattern that was knitted into a kind of helmet/balaclava shape (I might still have mine in a box somewhere) so there are a lot of different types around.
As Sarge says, this one appears to be a West German Bundeswehr item.

Thank you for the reply guys,I came across 3 militaria sites selling them (priced 75 to 140 euro ??)
I think they are all post war then,they all look almost new...
