Original MG34/42 ammunition belt?

Hi guys, I want to complete an MG34/42 magazine with an ammunition belt. I bought this belt, what do you think? Is it authentic or post-war? It has markings but they're not very clear either. I've heard that sometimes post-war belts have fake markings. Looking forward to your responses, regards.

Dates to November 1940, can't make out the Waffenamt code but it looks ok apart from appearing to be missing the starter tab?

Hello good morning, thank you for your response. Yes, I plan to purchase the starter tab as well as the bullets. How can I join the starter tab to the rest of the belt?

The same way as you can connect multiple belts, they slot together and a cartridge will lock them in place.

I don’t think a tutorial will be necessary.
Once you get a starter tab, a belt and a cartridge, I’m sure you will work it out!
Really very simple and a neat design.
