    Hi,the book I have shows this as a military type holster,as opposed to police or commercial.It also says that starting in 1915 all military holsters had to be maker marked,thats all I can tell you.....Pete.

    Looks like a fake made from water buffalo skin. The design is definitely WW2, as WW1 P08 holsters had a totally different structure.

    I would agree with Nick. The quality of construction is also not the standards. Appears to have shoe polish applied and missing pull strap. The take down tool pouch appears to be too short.
