    Gents

I picked up several pieces of leather equipment in a "hunting, shooting and fishing" sale in a mixed lot in a local auction.
The "two cartridge belts" appear to be a genuine Boer War British Army bandolier and a German WW2 belt with dated pebbled K98 ammunition pouches (I can post photos of these later), but what interested me was this leather holster.

I think it stands a good chance of being a genuine wartime issue P38 holster: I already have a spare Waffen Amt marked P38 magazine which fits the holster perfectly.

I have taken the best photos I can of the holster with my magazine, and would appreciate your opinions.

Does it stand a chance of being a decent wartime P38 holster? - and if so, is it a "hard" or "soft" shell?

    Thanks

    Adrian

Don't feel bad - you have a really nice Radom holster. When foreign nation items were captured and re-issued by the Germans they were identified with a letter. P for Polen in this case - P35 (p). Russia (r), France (f), Czechoslovakia (t) and so forth. I believe the Germans kept the Radom factory up and running. Neil
