From the mountings I would have said it also its been in use by German Gebirgstruppen , I have ammo boxes with the same fixings for hanging off the mule , like put most likely Czech made and reused by the Germans, maybe they fitted the metal work to the basket so it could be used by German Gebirgstruppen ?
