Restored Dreibein 34 accuracy?

Hello

A while ago i bought this MG34 tripod also known as dreibein 34 for a local military exhibit i was doing with a few collector friends. I bought it as a restored original. I was wondering how much of it is actually original, and how much of it is newer parts. Are there any websites/collectors who sell parts for this item?

What are the 3 hooks on the legs for?
Are there any other accessories for this item that i can be on the lookout for? (Carrying case, sling, various attachments?)

Would you reccomend stripping the paint on it, for a early war field grey paint, or is it better to keep it as is. This is is Norway, so it wouldnt make sense for it to have a desert colour. If yes, then reference images are appreciated along with the paint colour ID. If anyone has done this process before then send me a message. If you have more information about this piece that i might not know(date, production numbers, rarity, price etc...) dont hesitate to send a message. Ill do my best to answer all questions
