hello i'm in possesion af an attached canteen.it is rzm and ss marked on the thop.does this markings looks original to You?unfrortunately the strap is tied in the way that i cant look what is on the innner side.

I never knew the ss units had their own canteens.

Pre-war, I believe early Waffen-SS were grey green and Allgemeine-SS black, back when they were more of a paramilitary organization.by UK Cousin
