SS licence plate original ?

I bought this licence plate, it would be original according to the seller.
but is it....?
Is it possible that several plates of the same number have been released ?

Pictures not the best to decide either way. If I read the FPN correctly then it refers to SS Pz Grenadier Rgt 35 of 16th SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Reichsführer-SS. This may just be a nice flourish by a faker or original. But from these pictures I would have doubts, especially if the vendor has a lot of similar ones for sale.
