What mean numeral "4" and what type of camo

Looks Ok but condition of the print is bad. Maybe mold damage or bleach splatter?

Plain tree camo, the numbers (when properly applied) are for joining other zelts to form a consistent camo patterning.

It's the "black overprint" variation to Platanenmuster which was made in 1942/43, though it may be that a central section was patch repaired with this zelt.

Does the presence of only one hole in this place instead of two indicate the manufacture of a tent in the period 42-43?
