I am not sure Michel.
But they look like German drop zone flag.
The spot where they would drop equipment.
The US military had the same type of items

Thanks Chris, I bought these flags and I'll meet the seller this wek end. The flags were in Brest.

A rare piece of equipment and nicely marked! I thought they were a type of aerial identification used during military manoeuvers...

These are areal identification flags, used to mark the territory for the cargo planes etc. Very rare items indeed.

Actually they are company butt wipe cloths.
The red one to wipe your self and the yellow one to make sure you got it all.
