    I agree, a map tube was my assumption also. I know the WaA code isn't known but may be Czech producer. Not sure if the strap is a later replacement. Nice find.

    Sorry, I'm late

    I also have a similar container. No markings, aluminium. 700 X 80 mm. The purpose is visible in the photo. I don't think it carried bottles of wine
