I have a friend who really wants to buy this watch, but my opinion is that these types are all fakes. Does anyone have any confirmation that these types of watches were ever produced during the war? or are they all fantasy items?

I believe they come out sideways when uploaded. It's never happened to me, but I've seen a number of people describing that.
You could say this purchase was a waste of time.
