    Hello Guys,
Please help to determine whether the original is a Y-strap or a fake. There are hallmarks, the Rbnr is indicated in Rbnr 0/0766/0004.
Judging by the hallmark it is
    0: Industry.
    0766: Singen (Baden-Württemberg)
0004: LEDERWARENWERK CURT VOGEL in COTTBUS
    in my opinion.
It seems to be a late version, but additional straps for the early period?!
    Please, help me to understand.

    Thank You in advance.
    Regards, Dmitry.

    Hi Dimitry,
I think this is a late war set but with Czech add ons.
The yoke has the Czech style leatherwork.

    Hello.
I really don't know what to say about the secondary straps and their weird adjusting system, I have never seen anything like this before.
The rear strap would deserve better pics, I wonder if it is really WW2 and not post-war austrian ?

    Hello,
it was on the early belts there were such adjustment systems, but I am alarmed by the external firmware on them, can it be so at all ?!

Sorry but I don't understand the question, nor the term " firmware " in that context.
I have just noticed that the rear strap hook is not covered by leather on the backside, which seems odd : why bothering with stitching around it if the stitches don't retain anything ?
A piece of leather must be missing, which makes you wonder why, since it is not from extensive wear ?

What I meant was that the adding straps were used on the early Y-strap, and were sewn to the main straps, but the thread was not visible from the outside. about the back hook, the piece of leather hiding the hook was lost.

Was the rear hook leather cover really lost or removed on purpose ?

    the leather was lost.

Let's just say that it seems rather unlikely.
